CHIRP

Your local terrace helper

Meet Chirp

Guests are outside, staff are inside

  • Sound builds gradually during service — nobody hears it happen.
  • The team is at the bar, the terrace is around the corner.
  • Complaints arrive afterwards, when it is too late to fix anything.

The outside area is part of the venue. It is just the part nobody can see.

Meet Chirp

Outside measurement. Inside awareness.

One small sensor measures the sound level on your terrace every few seconds. Chirp turns that into a single signal your crew reads at a glance, right where they already look.

  • No dashboard during service
  • No extra workflow
  • No training — your crew gets it in a second

Four moods

  • Calm
    up to 55 dB
  • Lively
    55–65 dB
  • Gezellig
    65–72 dB
  • Té Gezellig
    72 dB and up

Té gezellig means it is time to pay attention — not that something is wrong.

During service, after service

During service

One bird, one mood. No screen to watch, no numbers to read — the crew notices the terrace getting louder while a friendly word is still enough.

After service

The timeline of the evening, average and peak levels, and how long the terrace sat above your limit — in a report you can print or hand over.

What Chirp measures

Sound level. Nothing else.

Chirp reads decibels, not conversations. No audio is recorded or stored, and nothing is shared with the city or your neighbours automatically — you decide when a report leaves your account.

What it gets you

  • Step in earlier, while it is still a small nudge.
  • A calmer terrace, and fewer conversations that start with a complaint.
  • Numbers instead of opinions when someone knocks on the door.
  • A track record you can bring to neighbours and the city when terrace rules come up.

The venue portal

Live level and mood, history by hour, day, week or month, sensor status, and a report you can hand over — all in one login.
